Re: [Ask ] How to read the original text books?
Generally, the structure of a paragraph in English is described as follows.
[Topic sentence]...
[Detail or the supports about the topic sentence]....
...[Conclusion sentence]
The main idea of a paragraph can be found on the topic sentence,
which is the first sentence of the paragraph,
or the conclusion sentence,
which is the last sentence of then paragraph.
Reading a paragraph, u would pay more attention at
its first sentence and its last one so that
it may help getting what the paragraph talk about more quickly.
