WISH.. I wish you could understand~ it doesnt make sense though.
I would use HOPE instead. Because when saying
"I WISH..." that means it wont come ture or s/th already happened.
ex: I wish I could be a boy. (sorry i am a girl..)
I wish I never met you. (sorry we already met..)
Using HOPE when s/th is possible to achieve and reach for you
or you are hoping s/th will come true.
ex: I hope you have a good day.
I hope you can give me a ride.
