I believe there're lots of lovers of English learning on this board, and since there're not too many people I can discuss this subject to, I am here to ask your opinion, really hope that I can make a decision and get off this not at all constrctive wandering. --------------------------------------------------- Here's the situation.( Long story though) I've been working as an English teacher for almost five years,I really really like my job, but there's one thing that bothers me. It was an accident that I've got the chance to be an English teacher, I was once a substitute, and I've made up my mind to be an English teacher since that experience. There was quite a long time for me to strive my best to learn English. Nevertheless, I didn't major in English nor had aquired good English certificate of any kind that can be a prove of my English ability. Luckily enough for me that I can still earn my living as being an English teacher now, (but am poor paid). I would say that my English is not tll bad, but, equally, I would say that it's not good enough. Life can be as easy as you would like it to be, yet I don't want to stay in my present status anymore. Kind of like not going to achieve anything, a tiny, little English teacher, not at all competitive. ------------------------------------------------------ What's above is what's my current situation is about. ------------------------------------------------------ I don't really know what to do. So I am here asking for your suggestions, I really want to be an English teacher, but it's really not stable a job as being an English cram school teacher, I like to teach children, but I am really not sure about my,so called " Job potential for the Future" ** Should I study for a master degree of English teaching? Should I join tests to get a nice pretty score and to get a nice pretty extra point for my resume? I do appreciate for your opinion for any kind!! btw, if you are a teacher in an English cram school, and you would like to find someone to study English together to get more understanding of English; if it's possible, hope that we can be friends! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 114.25.163.216
