其實which指代上，前面的名詞是a technique (called proton-induced X-ray emission) ，包含technique和限定修飾語，所以這裡指代上並沒有問題。另外有兩點要特別提醒: 1. 在GMAT的標準英文中，是絕對不允許用代名詞指代前面整個"事件" 2. 限定用法在GMAT中只會用that，所以還原句子應該是a technique that is called... ※ 引述《laperous (Laperous)》之銘言： : 原句改寫： : Originally developed for detecting air pollutants, a technique which is called : proton-induced X-ray emission and which can quickly analyze the chemical : elements in almost any substance without destroying it, is finding uses in : medicine, archaeology, and criminology. : 這樣應該就能清楚看出which所指為technique。:) : 至於非限定用法的which，是否只能代表“逗號前面的名詞”這個概念有點廣泛， : 原則上是這樣沒錯，但非限定用法的which也能指前面提及的“事件”， : Ex: 1).
