看到while是我個人認為最討厭的 因為它有四種可能的轉折語氣
(-) => (+)
(+) => (-) 這兩種我自己把它稱為對比 這裡的while帶翻譯我翻成對比 對照
(-) => (-)
(+) => (+) 這兩種我就把它當成普通連接詞 這裡的while就不翻了
接下來看空格在哪 很顯然的他是在填動詞
因此開始拆句子 目前還不知道它是哪一種狀態
While the delegate /clearly sought/ _____ the optimism
/that has emerged recently/
=>句子可以簡化成 while the delegate ______ the optimism
委員_______樂觀主義 (委員對於樂觀主義的態度是?)
接著看第二句
she stopped short of suggesting that the conference was near collapse
and might produce nothing of significance
=> she stopped ...... the conference was collapse and the conference might
produce nothing of significance
他停止對議會的建議 議會已經接近瓦解且結果也不重要了
因此我個人認為key word 在於 stop 這個動作
因此這是一句 (-) => (-)的句子
所以動詞是負向的你就可以考慮了 嗯 好像只有一個
整句的意思 委員對於樂觀主義很沮喪 他停止對議會建議議會已經幾乎瓦解
結果也不是那麼重要了
這種題型比較沒有轉彎算是比較簡單的題目
會出現在前幾題的填充當中 所以一定要寫對喔
