Besides, maintaining the old buildings can achieve educational purpose in some aspects. History is a great teacher, and learning history enables us to cultivate critical thinking and see the big picture of the past. Moreover, historic buildings can help us understand both the past and the present of the city. Secondly, it is obvious that the historic building can become a beautiful scene for the appearance of the city.It is apparent that historic building usually plays an essential role in the city, since it can represent both the traditional role and ancient spirit of the city. Furthermore, it is positive that we can appreciate those old buildings from the perspective of aesthetics. Last but not least, the old historic buildings can become a tourist attraction in the city, and it can assist the city in its sightseeing industry. For example, the Great Wall in Beijing is not only a breathtaking and amazing architecture but also one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world. It attracts millions of tourist around the world to visit Beijing, and undoubtedly it brings remarkable business opportunities to Beijing.
