Some people think that the automobile has improved modern life. Others think that the automobile has caused serious problems. What is your opinion? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Although the automobile improves our life with the convenience and efficiency, I still support the statement that the automobile has caused serious problems. Air pollution and noise problems expose the modern people under not only physical but mental risks. In addition, the car is definitely one of the factors make our earth becomes more and more fragile. Besides, the increasing numbers of car accidents deprives people from loved person and money. We should pay attention to this problem than anytime before. Some people may think the automobile is necessary evil, and I can not deny that. However, the exhausted gas released by the automobile results the serious air pollution. CO2 is one of the major greenhouse gases, it cause the temperature on earth rises and the glaciers in pole melt, even the weather becomes unstable. And when the gasoline incompletely combusts, CO comes out. CO damages our respiration system and stimulates the nasal mucosa, which leads a result of asthma and even worse, the cancers. These problems are really serious and upsetting many of us. Second, the automobile affect our mental healthy. For example, the noise problem is quite big. Modern people are more stressful than anytime before. Try to imagine, what will you react if the first sound in the morning you hear is the horn of the car. I think it is quite disgusting. This uncomfortable sound can not only affect our mood but, in fact, can cause many mental diseases like the melancholia and insomnia. Besides, it is common to get in a traffic jam, we waste time and lost our patience. This is really awful and we should take this problem seriously. Last but not the least, with the increasing numbers of cars running on the road, car accidents are dispensable. According to the statistics of the past ten years, in one month average one person would die in the car accident on each street. Lots of families are heart-broken and lose their beloved. So how can we not to give weight to this problem! To my mind, the automobile indeed has its importance, but how the government try to solve the problem, maybe develop more public transportation and cut down the number of cars is really necessary. The automobile bring the air and noise pollution, damage our health and risks our earth and beloved.
