The topic is from the exercise in Kaplan. Would you prefer to be a manager or take the individual responsibility and don't need to concern about others?(自己亂改) I prefer to the management positions, which involve interaction with others. To me, managing is more challenging because a manager doesn't only have to take care of his own manners, but have the responsibility to the group and group members. A group can't succeed without a good leader. I'm willing to take the challenge. I agree that individual responsibility is the fundamental element of the group. Every group member should be responsible for his own work. If there's any member who can't finish his assignment in time, the group will be affected. Thus, for any group, the first step to reach the goal is to ensure that the work assigned to the members are done well. A management is the one to assign works and check the progress. People are not perfect. Sometimes one will be lazy, or doesn't know how to finish his work efficiently. Whenever the manager finds the problems, a good manager is capable of solving them and make the team work smoothly. In this case, the manager not only takes his own responsibility as a member, but takes control of the group. I believe that the more duty I take, the more I learn. That's why I'm willing to be a manager. In addition, a manager has more chances to exposed himself to wider visions and develop the sense of competition. The one in the position of management has to think before the members. For example, a principle of an elementary school concerns the development of the school. When dealing with a problem, he has to consider more aspects than any teacher does. In the face of the challenges, a manager will learn and grow up faster than the members. With such experience, I'm advantageous in applying for better jobs in the future. On the contrary, those who takes only his own duties surely will not learn so fast and so much as I do. Sense of competition is quite essential for me, and I can thus benefit from being a manager. In conclusion, individual work is the basic requirement for a group to accomplish its goal. A manager plays the most important role and contributes more to the group. By taking more responsibilities, I can gain the sense of competition and become more capable. That's interesting and challenging for me to be in that position. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.217.29.42
