2. People learn in different ways. Some people learn by doing things;
other people learn by reading about things; others learn by listening to
people talk about things. Which of these methods of learning is best
for you? Use specific examples to support your choice.

In my opinion, people learn new knowledge through various ways. Someone would
just learn through books, magazines and internet, and some people may only
learn through traditional lectures, but someone, as me, prefers to learn
things by real experiences. There are numerous reasons why I would choose
this way,and I will propose some important ones here.
To begin with, I have to admit that seeing is not always believing. However,
it is a better way to prove what we have learned. Although it would take more
time to confirm whether the knowledge we obtain is right or not, we will have
more possibility to find the reality. Through indirect information, it is
easier to be misled than direct experience. Therefore, it would be a good way
to test and find what the truth is.
In addition, there are always some gap between theory and practice. If we learn
by doing, we can show, even correct the problem. It was going" Traveling
thousands miles of roads is better than reading thousands of books."
For example, when I studied in the college, I got a opportunity to be an
intern student in a non-profit organization. During that time, I broke a lot
of my stereotypes to this kind of organization. In the past, I believed that
the social worker only had to worry about the welfare of the clients. However,
without proper policy and support, they even could not survive for three
months! Consequently, through real experience, I do understand the gap between
reality and theory.
To sum up, learning by doing is effective way for me. Furthermore, practice
makes perfect. I would learn better though doing things again and again.
If I only read or listen to what I want and have to learn, I can forget them
soon. As long as I try to manage my time well and search enough information
to test what I have already learned, I would study more deeply than just read
or listen.
