: 3. Some high schools require all students to wear school uniforms. Other
: high schools permit students to decide what to wear to school. Which of
: these school policies do you think is better? Use specifc reasons and
: examples to support your opinion.
High school is an important period from an adolescent to an adult. The
students in this age have a mature body and they want to dress up to draw an
attention. However, the main goal of students in high school is to study hard
and they should not have time to think about what to wear everyday.
Wearing school uniforms present a status of a student. Most students would
watch their behavior and obey the rules in everywhere as long as they are
wearing uniforms. On the other hand, they do not earn money by themselves, so
they should not spent extra money on buying clothes. Furthermore, if students
do not wear school uniforms, classmates are easily found out who is rich and
who is poor. That would results in the bad judgment to each others between
classmates.
In conclusion, I agree high schools should require all students to wear
school uniforms. Wearing school uniforms takes advantage in many ways, such as
unbiased treatment, study hard and be a polite person.
