正是因為than 左右（詞性和語意）要對等，選D的話是不對等的。
左邊：janitor's salary （物）
右邊：teacher's (teacher's salary)
如此一來，薪水跟薪水比，兩邊就對等了。

本句應為：proved it worth --> 證明(V) it(O) 是值得的/有價值的(形容詞作OC)
在這邊worth 反過來修飾前面的 it (受詞) ，作受詞補語(OC)
it 指的是主詞： The data generated by the computer
舉例： She has proved herself unreliabe. 她的表現說明她靠不住。 (from雅虎字典)

主詞it 是不是打錯了.... I did not wish life that was not life.........
