Job Description: The Biomedical Photonics Lab led by Prof. Ian Liau at
National Chiao Tung University (Hsinchu, Taiwan) is exploring novel
scientific and technological approaches for fundamental biomedical research.
We invite applications from suitable candidates for a Postdoctoral Research
Fellow position. The candidate is expected to be a good team player, and have
strong motivation and interest in experimental biophysics and biophysical
chemistry, and excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
It is also preferable that the candidates possess hands-on experiences or
in-depth understanding in one of the following technologies:
‧ Multiphoton microscopy (SHG, TPEF, SRS, CARS, et al)
‧ Raman spectroscopy/imaging
‧ Laser-scanning confocal fluorescence microscopy
‧ Super-resolution optical microscopy
‧ Light-sheet microscopy
Salary: base salary is in accordance with the MOST regulation, but the actual
salary is negotiable and adjustable based on the research performance,
qualification and potential
Term: 2019/08/01 ~ 2020/07/31 (extendable) with a period of probation
