[問題] 想請問有關於骨隨移植一些專有名詞
Serial transplantation studies have shown that single
clones of bone marrow cells are able to reconstitute
lethally irradiated hosts in secondary, tertiary and
quaternary transplants over a cumulative period that
exceeds the lifespan of the donor, and are used as an
experimental measurement of cell-autonomous self-renewing capacity.
查了一些相關reference還是無法理解什麼是secondary, tertiary and
quaternary transplants...
我是在想會不會是...從接受者在那邊在移殖到新的接受者...
是這個意思嗎??
因為在此篇paper中有指出接受移植骨隨遭到破壞的老鼠...
在實驗數據中有的cell-autonomous self-renewing capacity可以比
Donor還要高些...所以我在想...既然都比原來還要高
為什麼還要在移植到另外新新的接受者...
