[討論] dominant-negative跟null mutant
如題
想來請教大家
dominant-negative跟null mutant有什麼不同呢!?
我看到網路上的定義是說
null mutant是 A mutation (a change) in a gene that leads to its not being
transcribed into RNA and/or translated into a functional protein product.
所以dominant-negative應該是null mutant的其中一種結果,是嗎?!
那paper在用詞上,只敢用null mutant這個字眼
是不是表示,他們還沒印證到底有沒有protein表現出來,是嗎?!
