原來是"改變沒有中產階級(的支持)"
那個 without the middle class 是 副詞片語 當 intensifies的受詞 嗎?
我一開始的困惑是 that 子句裡我找不到動詞，因為desire應該是當 N.
讓我不知道 without the middle class 所指的對象是?
當然我也知道一些民主理論對中產階級的說法，我只是需要更好的文法解讀方法
