※ 引述《oxyoxy (牛)》之銘言: : : Tell them what you'd like to get from your contacts. : : (grammar correcting, phrases improving and so on.) : : That'll better your English ability. : What makes those native English speakers willing to do those? : I mean correcting someone's grammar, phrases, ect.... : They are not our English teacher. : We don't pay them. So that's something we need to mention when we first introduce ourselves, isn't it? They can reject or they may do so much as a little help. Some people don't mind - few though, but they're out there. Or, you might as well pay for all this. A friend of mine do this for a living and there are plenty of incoming requests every week. So if one wants to practice English for free, either find a partner for serious language exchange, or, make do with those epals you got and try to persuade them to pay a little more attention to critical errors. Sending them a composition attached along with every correspondence isn't a good idea, of course. I tried this before and somehow it worked. (But it didn't work every time. Some people simply make friends. They'll say no immediately. Just keep trying.) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 210.85.45.69
