Personally, I don't think we're going through a dark-age,
or whatever you may put it. I believe it's of the entire society,
people lack an overvision, those who do, lack the will to act,
or they simply end up with their face shoved in mud trying
to make difference
I mean academically, economically, whatever field you name it;
Why is it hard for long term research to be done?
why is it that taiwanese pharmaceutical companies focus on
Health-Food instead of pharmaceutics?
Coz if a researcher can't be publicated enough projects results
within a year or 2, he's FIRED. Coz you don't need detailed
Characterization and analysis to proove a certain Food is healthy.
I think it's coz of the system, the way we're taught, the logic
we Taiwanese take for granted, you, me, and the pros and cons of
Taiwan that made this. So I'd choose to cast myself away, and see
if I can find an answer out there.
