1.a whole wardrobe for the tropics
2.a whole loaf
3.the baby cried the whole trip home
4.many escaped the fire frightened but whole
5.after the treatment he felt whole
6.a whole sister

in a material, substantial sense, one will not confuse 1. 2. 3. meanings;
4. 5.....a little abstract, requiring transcendent or metahysical thinking

6. too far-flung, wide-ranging, a big remove from the origin
but, if interpret with basic, material sense: this is a sister; and she's
"whole"--unharmed, not separable, complete unit;
the first meaning may be, if the author used a pun, the sister is healthy
then the possible extension? by comparison, a "sister" in its own right
describes interpersonal relationship, which derives from "a parent"--
that is, in the process of interpretation we can delve into the main
signifier, by what whose signification is produced
--a "whole" sister
a whole parent
to fully appreciate its meaning, we can suppose the opposite scenario:
what if "a whole sister" becomes "un-whole"?
an unwhole sister......parent not complete
