this "predicate" has two elements: verb and noun
and enjoy as a verb, is to signify the subject's feeling, emotion
holiday is an outward phenomenon
so if we repudiate "[enjoy] [the whole holiday]" ('whole' as adjective
to modify 'holiday') with an adverbial phrase such as "to the fullest"
;that just doesn't make sense, or just part of the jigzaw puzzle--
totally different figure of speech, one is adverbial,
another is adjective
