[Japan is a culture of accommodation and constraint, a system of forms, : etiquette, and images, making its] ever-present congestion tolerable. : (D) Japan's is a culture of accommodation and constraint, a system of : forms, etiquette, and images that makes the : (E) Japan's is a culture of accommodation and constraint, of a system of : forms, etiquette, and images, which makes the : 答:(D) ，答案(D)中"a system of forms, etiquette, and images"前為何不用有 : 連接詞和"a culture of accomodation and constraint"作區隔呢? : 另外。"that makes the"不會有修飾語誤置的問題嗎?(修飾"images") 這題我也做錯, 因為看不太懂 a system of forms的作用不過針對你的問題 1. a system of forms...的作用是同位語, 修飾對像為contstraint (我從句意上猜的, 也可能是a culture of accommodation and constraint 歡迎其它高手來討論) 2. that makes the....看動詞就知道修飾前面的a system... : 3. One analyst of the liquor industry estimated that this year a few liquor : stores have experienced [declining sales of up to fifty percent but : predicted that the industry as a whole will maintain a volume of sales : fairly close to last year.] : (C) up to fifty percent in declining sales but predicted that the industry : as a whole would maintain a volume of sales fairly close to last : year's : (D) sales declines of up to fifty percent but predicted that the industry : as a whole would maintain a volume of sales fairly close to last : year's : (E) declines up to fifty percent of sales but predicted that the industry : as a whole will have maintained a volume of sales fairly close to last : year's : 答:(D) 這題一直看不懂(C)(D)(E)中的排列順序 1. prediected發生在過去, 所以用would -> 去除(E) 2. declining強調動作, decline(n)強調下跌, 所以選名詞 -> 去除(C) : 4.
