[問題] 關於 ,Ving的用法?
想釐清一個句尾 ,Ving的用法
目前知道的是 ,Ving可以做
1.) 伴隨副詞
S+V+O and S+V+O
=> S+V+O, Ving....
2.)結果副詞
S+V+O前面整句是原因,Ving為結果
因為 ,which不能只代前面整件事
以上兩種都是當作副詞
但是最近翻白勇語法p.228 #3,也是OG12th #105
105. Beatrix Potter, in her book illustrations, carefully coordinating
them with her narratives, capitalized on her keen observation and
love of the natural world.
(A) Beatrix Potter, in her book illustrations, carefully
coordinating them with her narratives,
(B) In her book illustrations, carefully coordinating
them with her narratives, Beatrix Potter
他的解釋是: Ving分詞短語carefully coordinating可以向前當定語,
修飾名詞illustrations, 也可以向後當副詞,修飾capitalized
想請問 ,Ving可以當形容詞修飾前面的名詞嗎?
還是只有 ,Ved可以當形容詞修飾前面的名詞?
