[寫作班] Christmas / Physheepy
When it comes to Christmas, we think about gifts, glittery decorations,
and riotous parties. People enjoy themselves on their Christmas vacation. They
go to concert or party in fancy dress. They enjoy an extravagant big meal.
They buy expensive presents and cards to friends and family members. They say
"Merry Christmas and Happy New year." as greetings. Everything seems joyful
because a whole new year is coming.
However, not all people can have a merry Christmas.When we are planning
the activities for Christmas celebration, many people, especially in the
undeveloped countries, are suffering and struggling for just living. When
we are over-full and throw away the surplus food into trash cans, there
are many people dying of starvation and illness. What a big contrast it is!
I don't mean to dampen anybody's joy at this important festival. We are
busy in hard-working for the whole year and it's a good time to take a break
with family. However, I think we should keep in mind that we are the lucky
ones. Not all people have the rights to enjoy at Christmas. We should be
grateful for our fortune and treasure what we own. If you have the ability and
opportunity, try to help the unfortunate people. Share the happiness and bring
merry Christmas to them --just like what Santa Clause do. I think it will
take more joys to you than just a big meal or a party.
