the world is busy and crowded, we should not expect people to be polite to
others.
It is beyond doubt that the population in the world grows exponentially.
There are crowds of people living with us. The relationship between people
would become more and more complicated. In this time, the attitude of
politeness is extremely essential. As a result, I think we still should
expect people to be polite to others.
Being polite would reveal our positive attitude toward others. No one
would expect others to be rude or ill-manner to us. When we go to a
restaurant, we would expect the waiter or waitress to be polite when we order
meals. If they show a reluctant attitude to the customers when we order
something, we would feel disrespected. The atmosphere of the eating
environment would totally be ruined. Chances are that we may not go to that
restaurant again. As a rule of thumb, we should behave our politeness to the
utmost, letting people we treat feel a sense of relief and respect. This is
why we should expect people to be polite under any conditions. If we do not
expect that attitude, they would not attach importance to it. This is also
harmful for the entertainment industry as well.
Politeness also helps us when dealing with conflicts. We expect people to
be polite and we would show it in the first time when meeting accident. For
instance, when we face a traffic accident, in the road, we may not
distinguish the responsibilities at that time. When facing the situation, if
we do not display our well-manner to let the people know we are friendly and
take the duty, it is possible that the situation would be out of control,
because no one expects others to be polite. As a result, we should always
expect others with well-manner attitude and then we behave positively to let
the people be confident that we will not escape the problem. I think the
conflict would be solved peacefully in the long run. Hence, we should expect
people to be polite and we could show our well-manner first.
Politeness is of crucial importance in the world no matter how large the
population is. Being polite is to show our respect to people, allowing them
to get along with us without pressure and also help us cope with problems.
Consequently, we should expect people to be polite and then we could treat in
the same way.
