cut 不一定有挖掘發現出別人未注意到的事實 這意思. 它可以僅是讓人 心裡不舒服 好像心上有根刺一樣. 它的功能對象是人（的感受），不是事物. 拆開來看 cuts "below the surfece of comedy". 後面很難翻譯 因為如你說的意思有點複雜 但不如說是expression的
