[請益] 外國網友說的acquiring those habits
大家好,請問一下
在英語論壇發文:
https://goo.gl/ropfVw
“Good habits are hard to form and easy to live with. Bad habits are easy to
form and hard to live with. Pay attention. Be aware . If we don't consciously
form good ones, we will unconsciously form bad ones.”
─ Mark Matteson, Freedom from Fear
--------------
What do 'easy to live with' and 'hard to live with' mean?
It is easy to live with good habits.
It is hard to live with bad habits.
I am wondering why he said that.
------------
Good habits are easy to live with? I don't think I can exercise every day.
Bad habits are hard to live with? I think I can live with photo chips, fried
chicken, Big Mac and Coca-Cola every day.
--------------
網友Raymott 回應:
I think the sayings are meant to highlight the meaning of 'habit'.
If you were in the habit of exercising every day, it would be easy. What you
seem to be referring to is acquiring those habits which, as the saying points
out, is opposite. Also, if exercising was too difficult for you to form a
habit, then you would not have a habit that it was easy to live with.
I don't necessarily agree either.
-------------
想請問:
1.
What you seem to be referring to is acquiring those habits which,
as the saying points out, is opposite.
請問他這句話是什麼意思?我的理解:
「似乎你所指的是,養成那些(如格言所指的)相反的習慣。」(?)
2.
I don't necessarily agree either.
請問他是指,未必同意那格言說的,還是未必同意我說的?(我感覺是前者)
以上請教,謝謝。

感謝w大回應。其實我只是要表達,和壞習慣相處並不困難XD
