大家好,請問一下 在英語論壇發文: https://goo.gl/ropfVw “Good habits are hard to form and easy to live with. Bad habits are easy to form and hard to live with. Pay attention. Be aware . If we don't consciously form good ones, we will unconsciously form bad ones.” ─ Mark Matteson, Freedom from Fear -------------- What do 'easy to live with' and 'hard to live with' mean? It is easy to live with good habits. It is hard to live with bad habits. I am wondering why he said that. ------------ Good habits are easy to live with? I don't think I can exercise every day. Bad habits are hard to live with? I think I can live with photo chips, fried chicken, Big Mac and Coca-Cola every day. I think the sayings are meant to highlight the meaning of 'habit'. If you were in the habit of exercising every day, it would be easy. What you seem to be referring to is acquiring those habits which, as the saying points out, is opposite. Also, if exercising was too difficult for you to form a habit, then you would not have a habit that it was easy to live with. I don't necessarily agree either. 1. What you seem to be referring to is acquiring those habits which, as the saying points out, is opposite. (?) 2. I don't necessarily agree either.
