[問題] 請教一些法文

在小說A Good Year看到的，
時不時就是一個法文字、片語。
有時候從字形可以略知是現有英文的哪個意思，
有些就摸不著頭緒。
1) the maitre was a busy and important.
其實不是i，上頭的點是一個倒v
2) "Monsieur Max," she said "qu'est-ce que se passe?"
qu'est是quest的意思嗎?
3) copine
是couple的意思嗎?
4) the brocanteurs had set out this week's priceless relics
5) "Eh alors?"
6) "Alors, chouchou?"
7) "Quel bouquet," he murmured ....
8) Ornate copper crachoirs had been placed...
9) ... tasting are held sur place, ....
10) ... And you should start with the pissaladiere.

這個e是一個grave
11) "... Bien, et toi?"
12) "Qui, deux. Dans le jardin. A tout a l'heure."

這個a是grave
13) bonne maman
我猜是 漂亮的女人 的意思@@~
14) a foul-tempered salope
