In recent years, the global demand for semiconductors has surged, leading Taiwanese semiconductor companies, who possess the largest share of the semiconductor integrated circuit (IC) foundry market, to expand their production sites to Japan, North America, and Southeast Asian countries. Consequently, the IT investment needs connected to these production sites have also increased. Taiwan is home to a concentration of advanced semiconductor manufacturers and IT equipment design and manufacturing companies. It is a core hub in the IT equipment supply chain, and it plays a vital role supporting the global technology industry*1. SYSTEX provides comprehensive IT services to major Taiwanese enterprises, mainly in the finance and manufacturing industries and the public sector. These services range from the sale of IT equipment and proprietary solutions to system development and post-implementation maintenance and operations. With a particularly strong presence in the field of IT systems for semiconductor-related companies, SYSTEX is a recognized leading company in Taiwan’s IT industry distinguished by its expansive expertise in the industry and its industry-specific solutions. ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation（abbreviated as “CTC”） has extensive expertise in IT equipment sales and system development and operation. Since ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation went private in 2023, ITOCHU has positioned the expansion of the overseas business foundation for IT services as a key strategic focus. In addition to expanding the IT service businesses in North America,*2 ITOCHU is actively pursuing partnerships with global collaborators.
