我會把這邊看成是因為重覆而省略
可以把原句還原成:
... with dozens (of other people) if not (with) hundreds of other people ...
又或者可以把原句 if not hundreds 看成插入的成份,也就是:
... with dozens, if not hundreds, of other people ...
這樣應該比較好理解
