[問題] rather than
rather than(要)…而不…, 與其…倒不如…
例句：We'll have the meeting in the classroom rather than in the auditorium.
翻譯：我们與其在教室裡開會, 不如在禮堂開會。
例句：They thus increased their annual grain production rather than
diminished it.
翻譯：他們這樣增加了而不是減少了糧食年產量。
rather than的用法搞不清楚，
第二句依照語意我會翻成跟答案一樣，
但是第一句不能翻成"我們會在教室開會而不是禮堂"嗎?
兩種用法要怎麼分辨呢?
