[徵學生] Graduate Student Recruitment
The Toxicology Laboratory at the Missouri University of Science and Technology
(M S&T) is accepting a Master degree graduate student to conduct a NIH-funded
project. The project aims at establishing a delivery and monitoring system to
deliver biologically active molecules in in vitro and in vivo systems. The
imaging molecules are fluorescent semiconductor nanocrystals (a.k.a. quantum
dots) while the transporters are protein transduction domains (a.k.a. cell
penetrating proteins; CPP). A wide range of biologically active molecules
including siRNA will be used to test their functionality as well mechanisms
of actions in cellular and molecular levels.
I am looking for a diligent student with high motivation to advance his/her
academic career. The student is expected to enroll in the fall semester of
2010. The ideal candidates should possess basic biological laboratory skills
with good academic standing and scores of TOFL and GRE, is good at problem
solving, and can work with a team spirit. The Laboratory is closely
collaborating with the Cell Biology Laboratory directed by Dr. Katie Shannon
(Biology Dept), the Physical Chemistry Laboratory directed
by Dr. Jeff Winiarz (Chemistry Dept), and M S&T cDNA Resource Center
(www.cdna.org) directed by Dr. Robert Aronstam.
