想請為各位有關so... that的幾個用法首先 1. <so... that> v.s < so ... as to > ex. Often major economic shifts are < so gradual as to be indistinguishable> at first from ordinary fluctuations in the financial markets * so gradual as to be indistinguishable * so gradual so that they can be indistinguishable * so gradual that they are unable to be distinguished * gradual enough not to be distinguishable * gradual enough so that one cannot distinguish them Answer: A 這題我作的時候是選C although C 的they(economic shifts) are unable to在邏輯上是有問題當主詞是非生物型態時若用be able to or be unable to 就會產生問題但是在og中Gmac 將so as to 歸類為不合理idiom 想問A這該如何解釋?為何是對? 2. A 當然A是沒有問題 so.. that正確用法我想問的是E的倒裝句模式為何不可以下列是有關OG對E選項解釋 E The inverted word order does not grammatically fit into the rest of the sentence 那為何介下來這題又可以解釋so that是可以用在倒裝句 GWD5-Q1: < So dogged were Frances Perkins’ investigations of the garment industry, and her lobbying for wage and hour reform was persistent>, Alfred E.
