背景: 左腦控制語言行為，但有些人控制行為在右腦。 Argument (因果) 如下: 語言中心如果受到損傷(Ex: Stroke)，則語言能力會多少受到損傷。 --> 左腦受到 Stroke 損傷，而語言能力沒事，則語言能力必定在右腦看到因果的落差了嗎? 題目的原因提到的是 language center damaged 而結論提到的是 brain with stroke 所以答案 (D) 把這兩個因果聯繫在一起，成為了 assumption 的答案 (B) 的答案，屬於平行推論的加強概念，對 assumption 來說，屬於外來資訊題目討論對象為: 腦部受損之人，而非腦部未受損之人 Assumption 基本上是不討論不在 argument 討論範圍之內的對象 (Support 則沒有此限制) 如果你選 (B) 你犯了把 support 平行對比的答案代入了 assumption 當中建議你看這一題: Although parapsychology is often considered a pseudoscience, it is in fact a genuine scientific enterprise, for it uses scientific methods such as controlled experiments and statistical tests of clearly stated hypotheses to examine the questions it raises. The conclusion above is properly drawn if which of the following is assumed? (C) Any enterprise that does not use controlled experiments and statistical tests is not genuine science. (D) Any field of study that employs scientific methods is a genuine scientific enterprise. 這題的 (C) 和 (D) 就是最好的示範，(C) 看似拿一個反例拿支持論點但 assumption 是不接受題目沒提到的反面對象 OG 對此答案的解釋為: The argument does not concern what is not genuine science, so there is no need for this assumption. 這是一個大家常犯錯的問題，建議你可以注意一下 ※ 引述《henry77ha (fsdae)》之銘言： : For most people, the left half of the brain controls linguistic capabilities, : but some people have their language centers in the right half.
