Codes and ciphers are not the same thing. When you write a message in code
you replace words, phrases, or messages by different words, letters, or
symbols. When you translate the message into code it is called encoding.
Ciphers, on the other hand, translate every single letter, number, or symbol
with a different letter, number, or symbol.
簡單來說code比較接近「文字謎」或是黑話、暗語等等（例如Da Vinci Code）
而cipher比較偏向數學的作法（例如Enigma、DES或是AES）
不過語言運用上code跟cipher之間的界線其實並不那麼清楚
例如Caeser Cipher也被稱為Caesar Code
