[英中] 想請問幾個句子的翻譯

最近受友人之託幫忙翻譯一個東西，但碰到問題，希望版友們可以給我一點意見，非常感謝~ 1. compounded by? non-disease? 要怎麼翻譯比較適合? I believe that Modern Medicine's treatments for disease are seldom effective, and that they're often more dangerous thanthe diseases they're designed to treat. I believe the dangers are compounded by the widespread use of dangerous procedures for non-diseases. 比較有問題的是第二句 compounded by 這個詞查了merriam webster和cambridge dictionary 似乎有make (a problem or difficult situation) worse的意思不知道句子裡是不是就是這個意思呢? 拙譯如下: 我相信現代醫學對疾病的治療殊少有效，而且治療本身比所要治療的疾病還要危險。我相信，對於非疾病(non-diseases)廣泛地使用高風險的治療方式，更加深了這種危險。不知道non-disease是不是直接翻非疾病就好了？還是有需要翻成”不是疾病的症狀”一類的表達方式嗎? 2. go too far? every minute of everyday? 要怎麼翻譯比較適合? I believe that Modern Medicine has gone too far, by using in everyday situations extreme treatmens designed for critical conditions. Every minute of every day Modern Medicine goes too far, because Modern Medicine prides itself on going too far. go too far意思是做得太超過但很難抓到該怎麼翻詢問友人友人建議可用"太過氾濫"來表示但有點難放在這個句子裡後來想了一下有幾個詞可以用矯枉過正小題大作反應過度為過已甚....etc… 但也很難翻得順拙譯如下: 我相信現代醫學矯枉過正了。把原先用在病危狀態的極端治療，用於日常生活情況。現代醫學無時無刻(每分每秒?)都在過度醫療，因為它對於這麼做感到自豪。第二句覺得有點怪....會不會感覺念起來不像中文呢? 因為自覺程度不夠好翻譯的時候特別戒慎恐懼請有經驗的譯者版友給我一點意見或告訴我應怎麼修正比較好非常非常感謝! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 111.248.147.113 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Translation/M.1435272045.A.32F.html
