也就是說，than previously thought -->
than (scientists had) previously thought
請注意 OG 解釋所說 "a parallel active form"
--> 並不是強調詞性上的平行
而是強調 "主動" 用法的平行
所以是 emerged VS emerged 的主動平行
但這解釋其實是有點多餘 不需要在意
畢竟主動被動的平行 不是絕對的考點
