我已經了解a golden calf在英文中的意思
Something that is the subject of intense veneration can be called
a “golden calf” in English. This term is also used when discussing
the pursuit of material wealth.
在英文中，一個被極度尊崇的對象可以被稱作”金牛犢”。
金牛犢這個說法，也可以被用在討論追求物質上的財富。
但是以下這句話，我覺得自己有看沒有懂，
"In an increasingly hi-tech, global market, convenience has
become the golden calf. Consumers expect year-round savings and
availability." — Erin Ryan
我試著翻譯為：
在越來越高科技、全球化的市場，方便性變成了大家極尊崇的金牛犢。
消費者期待整年的存款跟可用性。(艾琳，萊恩)

後面這句話 這樣解釋對嗎? 這又是甚麼意思呢?
是說消費者期待把整年的存款用在某些地方上嗎?
