記得之前有人討論 secretary, assistant secretary 等等官員職稱翻譯的問題，
現在找不到哪一篇了。= =
總而言之我最近在讀 Congress and Its Members, 10th ed.，
裡頭有一段是這樣的：
p344-45
Congress and the president have made numerous changes in the top four layers of
officials in cabinet departments (secretary, deputy secretary, undersecretary,
and assistant secretary). More new job titles in the top echelons of
government have been created than ever before. . . . Among the numerous new
titles are deputy associate deputy secretary, principal assistant deputy
undersecretary, principal senior deputy assistant secretary, deputy associate
assistant secretary, and deputy executive associate administrator.[32]
簡（ㄙㄨㄟˊ）略（ㄒㄧㄥˋ）試譯：
國會與總統對內閣轄下部門的最高四層官銜屢做改變（即［略］等四層官銜），今日的高
層官員職稱數量前所未見。……新創的職稱包含［略］。（註三十二）
