[問題] 請問這句翻譯
The agent is credited with the commission on the premium that he has
collected and he takes credit in the account for the amounts that
he has been unable to collect, the total debit being the sum of the
new and renewal premiums.
這是一段有關保險經紀的文字。
第一句是指保險經紀可以從他所收到之保險費中獲得一定比例的佣金。
在and之後，我就有點看不懂了。
是指說保險經紀可從他無法收取之保費的保戶帳戶中取得佣金嗎？
那麼第三句（the total debit.....）中的debit又該是什麼意思呢？
是指保險經紀所獲得的佣金總金額是新保單保費與續保保單保費的佣金總和嗎？
還有一個小問題，保險經紀人，可否稱為保險仲介？或保險業務？
哪一種說法比較適合呢？
可否請各位前輩指點一下？
