Re: [中英] 請教書信用語翻譯
這篇推薦信還蠻有趣的，第一次看到這麼文言的！
最後面用inspection還蠻奇怪的，是要學校檢查信件嗎？
推薦信最後通常是會寫Thank you for your time and consideration for this student.
前面還蠻多是中文直接硬翻成英文，老外可能會覺得有點怪怪
像是祝該校fortune就有點怪怪的，
益友的益可以用像是「I have benefited a lot from them」會比較通順一點。
不建議用aquaintance，這個用法在外國人來說僅止知道這個人而已。

: ☆中間因有人名被我刪除，原文有「某某，某某諸教授」，這個「諸」字下得模稜兩
: 可，不知道就是指前面的某某與某某，還是某某之外還有更多某某......於是譯文
: 就加上「其他」。
: ☆這封信處處敬語，貴校可是有抬頭的，實在不好意思直呼人家其他教授others，
: 於是變成other respected ones，但這樣交情就不好說，於是才有acquaintances
: and friends一語......但沒有「益友」的「益」。
: ☆「學恩彌厚」要怎麼翻譯？（哭）
