該如何理解黃字部分呢？

the phrase “ near poverty, ”arguing that it conjures levels of dire need
like hunger and homelessness experienced by a minority even among those
actually poor.
1. 這個詞彙會讓人錯估實際上僅是少數人所經歷飢餓和無家可歸的程度，
和那些真正貧窮困頓的人一樣
2. 主張此詞彙讓人想起那些少數經歷飢餓與無家可歸的真正貧窮人的痛苦經歷
Demographically, they look more like "The Brady Bunch" than " The Wire." Half
live in households head by a married couple; 49 percent live in the suburbs.
Nearly half are non-Hispanic white, 18 percent are black and 26 percent are
Latino.
其中有一半是一家子住在一起，又以夫妻兩人的型態佔大部分
