個人在此有一點不同的想法：
您的譯文：因為重新感受到目所以他們可能會脫離這些不好的狀態...

就我個人的感覺，原文中 "renewed sense of purpose" 的存在似乎是「必然」會使他
們 "come out of these states" ，而非「可能」使他們脫離那樣的狀態。換句話說，
有問題的是「renewed sense of purpose」會不會出現，而不是「renewed sense of
purpose」存在的情況下，「come out of these states」會不會發生。
所以，不妨翻成：「他們可以因為重新感受到目標而脫離這些不好的狀態」
BTW，雖然「譯者（您）覺得」這樣的狀態是不好的，不過在譯文中直接寫出來會不會
剝奪讀者的思考空間呢？ ：）
